Ichiban Boshi at Sunway Giza

Last 2 weeks, I celebrated my birthday with a friend. We decided to try out Ichiban Boshi at Sunway Giza. Previously, I had tried out their first branch which is at Pavilion. This is the second outlet that they had opened recently.

Anyway, after about 20 minutes of waiting, we finally got ourselves seats and we are lucky enough to be seated right next to the sushi belt. My friend ordered Chicken Teriyaki Don.

Chicken Teriyaki Don

As for me, I decided to order only sushi as I had been craving for them for some time. Below are some of the sushi that I had took.

 Unagi with Cheese

 Salmon Roll

 Soft Shell Crab Handroll

 Unagi and Tuna Handroll

 Hawaiian Roll

Well, as expected all the sushi are nice and fresh and I love almost all of them except for the Hawaiian Roll as for me I felt its a bit of weird combination of pinapple and ham. The Chicken Teriyaki Don is nice too. Japanese food are always nice to be eaten along with a cup of hot green tea.

Overall, I will definitely say the food at Ichiban Boshi is delicious and definitely a worth for those sushi and japanese food lover to try out.

A day at Petaling Street

A few weeks ago, Matta Fair was held at PWTC so me and my friends decided to have a look at the packages that will be offered there. We went there in the morning and found out there were not much to see so we decided to go around Petaling Street to find some good food for our lunch. It has been a while since I came here. Anyway we started our lunch with wantan mee at Koon Kee.

The wantan mee tasted good but I found it is a bit too oily. Besides wantan mee, it also serves chicken rice here but we didn't try it out. Our next stop will be the Hokkien fried noodle at Kim Lian Kee. This restaurant was established a few decades ago and it is still famous till now.

The Hokkien fried noodle is famous around the patrons around the area but maybe I am not into oily food so I just found it to be just ok. Nevertheless, this restaurant offers lots of variety in the menu that we have seen. Our last stop will the the Claypot Chicken Rice at Hong Kee.

Well, perhaps I can see this is the best among the 3 food that I have tasted. The Claypot Chicken Rice really tasted nice and it has the combination of chicken and and 'Lap Cheong' (dried pork sausage). Our stomach were already full after this third visit so we decided to make a stop and perhaps we will be back again next time to taste more food.

Petaling Street is located at Jalan Petaling, Kuala Lumpur and it can easily be reached through the LRT at the Plaza Rakyat Station.

Homemade Claypot Restaurant @ Cyber Valley, Dengkil

A few weeks ago, we were thinking on what to eat for dinner so we decided to settle it at Dengkil area. In the end, we chose Homemade Claypot Restaurant.

As what tthat have been stated in the name of the restaurant, most of the dishes are actually placed in the claypot but we chose those which is not cooked using the claypot. Here are a few dishes that we had ordered.

Restaurant Own Special Tau Fu

 Fried Vegetable

 Strawberry Chicken

Fried Egg

The restaurant own Special Tau Fu and the Strawberry Chicken is something that we rarely can find in the menu of any other restaurant. The tau fu tasted good but the strawberry chicken tasted just like normal fried chicken with sweet sauce on top of it. Overall the food is good as we didn't have high expectation. The price is cheap too as the overall bill only cost about RM30 for the 3 of us. It's a good place if you plan to have dinner at a cheap price.

Homemade Claypot Restaurant is located at the new commercial centre Cyber Valley at Dengkil and the restaurant is located at the last row.
